Dewitt Marine is committed to providing you with first class, complete marina service when you need it.  If you wish to tour the Antrim County "Chain of Lakes" we are waterway accessible from almost any lake in the chain including Torch Lake, Elk Lake, Skegemog Lake, Clam Lake or Bellaire Lake plus three different rivers! Because we have certified technicians to serve you more efficiently upon your request, we can keep your boat available to you when you need it. Our service is all about you and your summer boating needs. Like it here? Then, keep your boat here for the season in one of our first class slips or enjoy the convenience of our "In and Out" service where the only waiting is on unpacking the car!

BOAT & WAVE RUNNER RENTALS & SALES

If you don't have a boat right now, rent one of our like new 22' or 24' foot "Premier" pontoon boats or one of our Sea Doo wave runners for a great time on Torch Lake. Go to the legendary "Sand Bar" at Torch Lake or tour one of the rivers that connect this beautiful northern Michigan lake chain. What a blast!

But, if you are ready to purchase that new boat, select a new boat from our large inventory of Boston Whaler and Premier pontoon boats. Or if you prefer, select one of our used boats that fits your needs perfectly. We have a great selection of clean "fresh water" boats. Whatever your boating requirements might be, Dewitt Marine can meet those requirements in a way that you will always want to come back to see us again and again.

Annual Boater Safety Class

Join Dewitt Marine and the Antrim County Sheriff's Department for Boater Safety Class and certification test. Pre-registration is required. This is not a formal class so studying is strongly suggested. Please prepare by reading the course book available free from the Sheriff's Office or by taking the online course at either of two websites:
 
Please do not purchase the certificate offered on websites. Certificate is not an issued Boater Safety Card, nor is it recognized to obtain your Boater Safety Card
 
Sign in begins at 9:30am and moves into Q&A for any problems studied in the material. Exam at 11:00am followed by lunch provided by Dewitt Marine.

This class is open, free to the public and parents are welcome to join their children.

Cruising For The Cure: The Jane Thei Memorial Torch Lake Classics Rendezvous

Cruising for the Cure returns to the harbors of Clam River on Saturday, July 21, 2012

More than 40 original and restored wooden boats will be on display from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. representing the 1920s-1960s. Brands include: Chris-Craft, Garwood, Hacker Craft, Century, Lyman, Morin Racing Craft and Thompson.

Join us as a spectator or boat exhibitor.  Dedicated to the memory of Jane Thei, benefiting the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in its efforts to promote further research in finding a cure for those suffering with pancreatic cancer.

Join Dewitt Marine at the 5th Annual Wings of Mercy CareAffaire Benefit Pancake Breakfast. This special event is the ONLY fundraiser to raise money for the fuel it takes to transport Northern Michigan (yes, local!) patients to health care appointments, surgeries and physician referrals to locations such as Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, Duke Medical/South Carolina, Devos Children's Hospital, University of Michigan, ect….

Suggested Donation of $5.00/plate $25.00/family

Event Details

  • 9am Arrival of teh 1943 B 25 Mitchell Bomber in honor of the 490th Bomb Squad/ World War II Burma Bridge Busters
  • Rides on this historic plane will be available
  • Picture opportunities with the Veterans who served and fought this battle
  • Airplane Rides over the bay with the pilots who fly for Wings of Mercy (suggested donation of $30 for single engine/$40 for twin engine
  • Warbirds on display
  • Games and prizes
